

Ms. Barcellona knew at a very young age that she wanted to make it her life's work to share her musical gift with others. She began her formal studies as a teenager at the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago. She pursued graduate level studies in Florence, at the University of British Columbia, and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg. Ms. Barcellona has studied privately with some of the world's finest teachers, including Tito Gobbi, Virginia Zeani, and Louisa Maragliano. Appearances in North America, Europe, and New Zealand have further refined her beautiful voice and nuanced performance.
Ms. Barcellona's rich tone and artistic prowess have earned her orchestral engagements with some of the world's greatest conductors such as Sergiu Commissiona, Erich Kunzel, and Mario Bernardi. She has traveled extensively on three continents, endearing herself to audiences in London, Rome, Genoa, Lyon, Arles, Auckland, and throughout Canada. She is accomplished in a wide range of genre, including recital, opera, musical, and oratorio.
